On September 2, 2026, the 126th Forum on “Fisheries and the Ocean”, organized by Rakusui-kai, the alumni association of Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, was held. Prof. Ishizaki co-presented a lecture titled “The Future of Aquatic Cell-Based Foods (Cultured Fish Meat)” with Associate Prof. Daisuke Ikeda (Faculty of Marine Life Sciences, Kitasato University). Associate Prof. Ikeda explained the research findings on eels, while Prof. Ishizaki explained the findings on Alaska pollock.
